The Mooses Tooth

A guided ascent up Ham and Eggs and the Moose's Tooth is an incredible experience. The climb is a long and challenging one, but the views you get from the top are spectacular and well worth the effort. The route begins with some technical mixed climbing, followed by 2,000' of snow and ice climbing. Once you reach the top of Ham and Eggs couloir, you'll have a stunning view of the Great Gorge, West Fork of the Ruth, and the south face of Denali. From there, another hour of climbing takes us to the summit of the Moose's Tooth. The climb up the Moose's Tooth is technical and challenging, but you'll be rewarded with one of the most beautiful views in the area.
